Many of you will have spent Friday closely following the hashtag #brightonSEO (this must be true as we were trending before the end of the first session!). We can only feel empathy for those who weren’t able to make it to the show in person. However, for the first time ever, there was live footage of the show being broadcast – for those who haven’t watched it yet, you can find it HERE!
The industry had come out in full with exhibitors and sponsors from all sides of the industry like Linkdex, PiDatametrics, Kerboo, SEMrush, Calltracks, PR Newswire, WooRank, WiredSussex, Brighton&Hove Chamber of Commerce to name but a few.
We also had our sister company – Brighton’s very own digital marketing agency, SiteVisibility, hosting a SVIP lounge upstairs in the Foyer Bar’s mezzanine.
In addition to the awesome array of industry speakers sharing their take on hot topics as shown above, there were some BIG announcements at the show…. the main one being that it was going to be the last brightonSEO event (having been held at the Brighton Dome for what feels like forever, this was shocking news!). The whole show will be moved to the bigger Brighton Centre (phew) – where the capacity to hold at least double the amount of attendees will be gratefully appreciated I’m sure!
We too, were proud to host a stand advertising our job board with over 60 different roles in the Digital Marketing spectrum being advertised. The jobs range from Technical SEO to Head of Paid Media to Full Stack Developers, and are located in digital hubs like London and Brighton as well as the less obvious Gloucestershire, Nottinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and more. Not to forget of course that we’re hiring a visa sponsored Tech SEO role for the warm and sunny Sydney, Australia!
If you saw the job you liked on our rolling job board at the show, get in touch and we can discuss it with you OR if you didn’t see the perfect job for you but want us to help you keep an eye out for the perfect job, still get in touch! We can then discuss your ambitions and experience as to gauge whether these in fact marry with what our clients are looking for. We’re also good at ensuring your CV reflects your experience to it best, helping you prepare your interview techniques and generally hold your hand through your offer negotiation, resignation and on-boarding into your new role!!
The partnership for clockworkTalent and brightonSEO is strong, and we look forward to continuing to help Digital Marketing professionals find the right career moves both here in the UK and overseas. If you need assistance with your job hunt, or just need some support in knowing how to best present yourself to the market, don’t hesitate to reach out to us, via email@example.com or call on 0203 7514108.
We look forward to seeing you all in September at the next brightonSEO….. hope we can all find our way to the new venue!!
