Our client is a Berkshire based integrated Digital Agency easily commutable from Reading. Focused on increasing online sales and influencing brand perceptions through Website Design and Digital Marketing tactics across all channels for exciting enterprise clients in Retail, Fashion, Sports, Financial Services and more.

Having implemented and developed new inbound marketing practices, we are hiring a new sales role to focus on converting those enquires.

THE ROLE

Reporting to Head of Digital, as Sales Executive / Sales Manager you will be directly responsible for taking the inbound marketing enquiries through best practice sales activity. You will be converting the inbound leads and qualifying them for pitch and proposal. Dependant on your experience you will be supported by technical specialists and senior management through the pitch/proposal stage but it’s your sales experience which will drive the process.

To do this well you need to be familiar with the digital marketing landscape, confident in communicating with prospects and self-motivated in driving the opportunity. It’s important to be an ambassador of the agency’s services, unafraid of new business opportunities. In return you’ll have the opportunity to work with household name clients, already in the portfolio are Harlequins Rugby, Cath Kidston, Mint Velvet and Virgin! To continue your career development, you’ll attend the industry conferences and other networking events to further your industry knowledge, develop leads and hone your sales skills.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 2+ years’ experience in a digital agency sales role
  • Bring a successful sales track record
  • Motivated by targets and performance against those targets
  • Broad understanding of wider digital marketing landscape
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail i.e. recording detail to database
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good business sense, drive and enthusiasm for your work
