Based in central Brighton, one of our award-winning agencies is hiring a Paid Search Manager to join their established team of search marketing professionals. Well respected for their integrated campaigns which deliver exceptional results for Enterprise clients across all industry sectors, we are looking for the individual who wants the opportunity to apply their skills to developing an industry admired Paid Media service.


Reporting into the Head of Digital, as Paid Search Manager, you will need to be collaborative in working style to work efficiently with internal stakeholders as well as clients. You will bring a wealth of Paid Media knowledge, being exceptional in PPC – it is your craft and perhaps a more recent knowledge of Paid Social. You will have both a strategic head and enjoy being hands-on as we work towards building you a team. It is early days building the Paid Search offering and you will be integral in building the proposition with the support of the senior management team.

You will be responsible for delivering both the day-to-day management of client accounts, focus on supporting the pitch, proposal and delivery of PPC and Paid Social. You will be passionate about Paid Search, wanting to share your knowledge and shape an exceptional offering. Supported with the right tools and resources, you’ll be invested in with personal development, attendance of conferences and training to ensure you keep at the forefront of your niche. Longer term, you will have the support of Senior Management to lead the hiring, management and retention of the Paid Media team, selecting your own tool suite and running your P&L. We see this position having significant career growth potential.


  • 3+ years’ focused specifically on Paid Media Advertising including the setup and delivery of high performing PPC campaigns
  • Experienced in the Google Display Network including remarketing & contextual advertising
  • Rock solid experience in using keyword research tools
  • Preferably Google AdWords & Google Analytics Certified
  • Demonstrable track record of improving performance and ROI
  • Ideally, bring previous experience of working in an agency environment
  • Hunger and ambition to set up and manage a service offering, able to work autonomously but bring on a team
  • Strong communication skills with ability to report confidently through strategy meetings and monthly reports
