Already with a successful global platform available to signed Mega-Influencers, our client is a London start-up carving out incredible success in Influencer career management. Exciting plans are afoot, including an expansion of their services to include Macro-Influencers and a significant investment in the marketing team. With this, we are hiring 2 roles. This is an Events Management role, and if event management isn’t for you but content creation is, you might consider the Digital Marketing Content Manager role we’re also hiring.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Founder, as Marketing Events Manager you’ll be responsible for planning and running events with signed influencers across multiple industries.

Bringing both B2C event planning and management as well as a deep knowledge of London venues, you will take responsibility of the company events ranging from small intimate, popups to larger exhibitions and conferences around the world.

You’ll be innovative in your approach and enjoy the creative aspects but have a huge attention to detail. Confident with researching, you’ll be empowered in sourcing locations and sponsors for events and driving negotiations on price, freebies and discounts! You’ll manage events on the day including tickets, food, entertainment and working closely with influencers and their teams, you’ll arrange their accommodation and travel. While at the events, you’ll liaise with the content team to get videos, photos and other promotional material.

Your role will be so varied and exciting. You’ll need to not be star struck and confident in managing high profile relationships. This role also includes sourcing the best events for the brand to attend, pitching at smaller influencer events, attending conferences, and supporting the CEO and Business Development Manager in attending other events all over the world.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bring at least 2+ years’ experience arranging B2C events, pop-ups, Influencer meetups, exhibitions etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of London’s event spaces
  • Track record of sourcing source and pitching to potential sponsors
  • Previous experience of arranging 5+ successful B2C events
  • Ability to negotiate rates for spaces and getting brands to sponsor events
  • Creative eye for design and the ability to source decorations/furniture/props for events
  • Passionate and self-motivated in your work, able to complete tasks and make decisions without supervision
  • High energy and infectious enthusiasm for your work
  • Sound knowledge of Mega-Influencers, likely Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle or similar.
