Our client is a Brighton based agency, proud of their legacy in delivering bespoke websites with engaging copy, branding and marketing campaigns which get their clients noticed. Founded in a hub of creativity and innovation in 2007, they’ve built a portfolio of clients who are the crème de la crème of the locality as well as larger clients like Universal Studios and Jeremy Paxton. We’re now hiring a Business Development Manager to work with the Founder. We have an option to hire at a Business Development Manager level or, if the right senior hire is available, this position could be Head of Sales.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Founder, as Business Development Manager you’ll be responsible for generating new business sales. You’ll bring tenacity and resilience along with your passion for representing exceptional services from this agency. In contributing to the full sales process with the Founder’s initial support you’ll be maintaining the lead generation system, new customer acquisition, revenue, profitability and managing the sales pipeline. You’ll work with the CEO to present proposals and win new business while handling contractual negotiations with clients.

In this role, you’ll also monitor digital trends and run online campaigns to attract new business. You’ll be innovative and ambitious for your continued sales success and enjoy the reward of high-performance commissions. You’ll also represent the agency at industry conferences, speak at events and enjoy networking.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 4+ years’ success in new business sales of technical services
  • Solid in-depth knowledge of creative web design and digital marketing landscape
  • Innovative and unafraid of bringing new ideas to the table
  • Highly self-motivated, driven by sales success
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close team
  • A drive to work in a vibrant, team-focused and results-driven office.
