Senior SEO & Content Marketing Executive (Travel)

Based in central London, this is the rare opportunity to join a new team focused on Travel in one of the world’s most recognisable brands. We’re hiring a Senior SEO & Content Marketing Executive for this new Travel division (this role will begin as a 6-month fixed term contract with all the benefits of a full-time employee).


As Senior SEO & Content Marketing Exec, you will take ownership of the planning and creation of the brands content calendars by carrying out trend analysis, competitor research and keyword forecasting for the Travel Commerce content. You will identify areas for potential keyword growth, suggest contextual linking opportunities to improve internal linking and assist in reporting content performance analysis.

Alongside the creation of new content, you will put your optimisation skills to use by refreshing existing content to ensure it is relevant and current. You will bring with you a host of SEO skills, including knowledge of a range of SEO tools. Within this role, you will craft a small amount of social and native advertising copy but, primarily, this position focuses on strategic SEO including on & off page optimisation, site health & algorithms. It’s ideal for someone seeking to progress a strategic SEO career (not a copywriting career)!


>>Ideally an applicable degree education OR comparable professional working experience

>>A strong understanding of SEO best practice for content marketing techniques

>>Rock solid Keyword research, forecasting and tracking skills (crafting content calendars tied to audience needs)

>>Competent in using SEO tools i.e. Screaming Frog, ahrefs, Deepcrawl etc.

>>Ability to produce a range of content types including landing pages, social posts, emails and web articles

>>Analytical mind with an ability to analyse content performance using Adobe Analytics Suite (this can be taught if you currently use GA)

>>Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

>>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders

>>Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal

>>Possess a genuine passion for digital marketing and have a positive, can do attitude towards work
