SEO Assistant Manager 

With an exceptional client list including Financial Institutions, Central Banks through to financially astute private individuals, our client is a globally recognised financial investment management company who pride themselves in offering support and guidance with an aim of investing in the long term of their customers.

We are expanding the 30+ Marketing team, hiring an SEO Assistant Manager into their aesthetically pleasing Surrey regional office which sits in a woodland of greenery.

THE ROLE 

Reporting into the SEO Manager, you will contribute to the SEO responsibilities which will initially focus on a new website migration through to creation, delivery and management of campaigns and content marketing. With an outsourced specialist agency providing a wealth of technical support, you will work with the SEO Manager to build and implement a robust SEO strategy. With the new site, you will be integral in reviewing what performed well and what did not, making changes and fixing those errors. Your on and off page SEO skills will be invaluable for this as well as building best practice in content marketing, outreach and creating backlinks.

An ability to work collaboratively, drive and build relationships is required for making the most of key stakeholders internally as well as the SEO agency. Bringing a holistic knowledge of digital marketing will be valuable, aiding the process of collaborating with Paid Search & Content Editors on varied, complex projects. Other duties could include keyword monitoring and competitor research, and you must have passion for your vocation and want to stay up to date with the latest SEO best practice trends and tech. It’s also important you share your SEO expertise, taking an active role in evolving the SEO skills of the marketing and content teams by reporting data, offering guidance and demonstrating SEO best practice.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

>>2+ years’ experience in SEO

>>Rock solid on-page optimisation and analysis skills

>>Strong analytical mind with experience in using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, Screaming Frog, Google Console, Keyword Planner, MS Excel etc.

>>Understanding of how Paid Search and Social can be used to support Organic Search efforts

>>Exceptional copywriting and reporting skills

>>Knowledge of Mobile Search best practice

>>Understanding of technical SEO is desirable, but not essential (training will be given)
